His first job was as an international petrophysical engineer in Schlumberger, spending 8 years including in the UK, Egypt, Abu Dhabi, India, Brunei, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines and Australia. After his law degree and admission to the Bar in the UK, he practiced in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore whereupon in 1995, he was made partner in one of the largest legal firms in S.E Asia out of Singapore. Also served previously legal consultant to the Jakarta Stock Exchange & Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. In his 30s he ventured into fund management and corporate finance and was a director of corporate finance for a major European Investment Bank looking after South-east Asian private equity investments. Subsequently he started his own IT business (SMTrack Bhd) and managed to get it listed on the Malaysia Stock Exchange before he sold out and ventured into the USA as CEO of Smartag International, Inc.

An expert in Cloud, RFID, Blockchain and e-Commerce, he joined SMTrack Berhad as Technical Operation Director and promoted as Vice President. He was involved to lead the development and implementation of Secured Trade Facilitation System using RFID for Royal Malaysian Customs Department. Winsen has a degree of Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) Information System Engineering, University Tunku Abdul Rahman.

He also serves on the board of a renewable energy project in Asia, and he is passionate about connecting emerging technologies with business opportunities. Sunder has earned his MSc in Aerospace Vehicle Design from Cranfield University, UK.
